When is Yom kippur?

Yom Kippur this year, 2024, starts on October 11, 2024, at dusk, and it finishes on October 12, 2024. And the date changes each year.

It is the most sacred day of the year for Samaritans and Jews. Every year, on the 10th of Tishrei, which falls in late September or early October, it takes place.

For those who follow traditional Jewish beliefs, atonement and repentance are paramount. Yom Kippur is otherwise called The Day of Atonement.
