Pancake Tuesday, also known as (Shrove Tuesday) is always 0bserved 47 days before the western Easter Sunday. This year, Pancake Day is observed on Tue, 13 Feb 2024. 

Many Christian nations celebrate Shrove Tuesday by having confessions, burning the palms from Holy Week the previous year, completing Lenten sacrifices, and feasting on pancakes and other sweets.

Also, Christian denominations, such as Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists, and Roman Catholics, observe this day. During this time, they “self-examine themselves, repent from their wrongdoings and make amendments in their spiritual growth and relationship with God.
