When is National Boyfriend Day?

National Boyfriend Day is observed on October 3rd annually. It occurs two months following National Girlfriend Day.

It is believed that October 4th, 2014, was the day Boyfriend Day was first celebrated. However, the celebration truly took off in March 2016, with an unprecedented rise of more than 46,000 tweets honoring the day.

Even though no one knows for sure when the day was first proposed, it was probably someone who had a bright idea when they saw that there wasn’t a day dedicated to boyfriends and thought of this fantastic idea.

It’s important to keep in mind that National Boyfriend Day is not an official holiday, so you cannot request time off from work to spend it with your partner.
