When is Memorial Day?

Memorial Day is a holiday observed every last Monday in the month of May of every year. This year, it will be observed on Mon, 27 May, 2024. 

It is a holiday recognizing the commitment of members of America’s military services to honor those who lost their lives while defending their country.

Also, there is always a national moment of silence that takes place at 3 p.m. local time to remember the dead of the civil war.

Furthermore, many people visit friends and family on this day. Some spend this time on other activities, like visiting cemeteries and attending community gatherings.
